Senior-led, AI-powered, human-accountable

How we use AI

AI does the heavy lifting with the data. Senior partners make the decisions and stand behind them.

Large firms use AI too. What is different at Octobiz is the model built around it: Senior operators instead of a junior pyramid, a first rescue plan draft before the first day on site, and a fixed fee instead of an open clock. This page shows the real workflow and how we protect your data.

The workflow

What AI does, and what people do

Every step has a named owner. AI never sends anything to a client that a partner has not reviewed.

Step 01 of 06

Day 0 · People

Mandate and data request

A partner agrees scope and NDA with you. You receive a structured data request and questionnaire, and upload into a secure data room.

Days 1 to 2 · AI

Data preparation

Our tools read, clean and reconcile financial statements, management accounts, open items and bank data. What took analysts a week takes hours, and gaps become visible early.

Days 2 to 4 · AI + people

Diagnostics

RXI™ types the distress. Models analyze liquidity, margin bridges, working capital and peer benchmarks. Analysts check every anomaly.

Days 4 to 5 · AI + people

Rescue plan draft

AI drafts the 13-week cash view, a measures catalog with cash and EBITDA effect and a first board storyline. Partners rewrite, cut and prioritize.

Output Draft plan before day 7
From day 7 · People

On site

Interviews, site walks and workshops. Judgment, negotiation and leadership stay human, and so does the final plan.

Ongoing · AI + people

Rescue Monitor

During execution, AI watches cash and KPIs every week and raises early warnings. A partner signs off the monthly report to board and lenders.

Why “AI-powered” and not “AI-driven”

In a crisis, nobody wants a plan written by a machine. AI makes our partners faster and more thorough. It does not replace their judgment, their presence or their accountability.

Who builds our tools

Our own AI development team, led by James Kowalske, builds and maintains RXI™ and the internal tools behind diagnostics and monitoring.

How we handle your data

Crisis data is the most sensitive data a company has

These commitments are part of every engagement letter.

NDA first

No data moves before a signed non-disclosure agreement. Many clients share a first overview anonymously.

Confidential by contract

Our engagement letters and our agreements with freelance partners include confidentiality obligations.

No training on your data

Client data is never used to train AI models.

Retention and deletion

You decide what happens to your data after the mandate. On request we delete it and confirm the deletion in writing.

Human review

No AI output reaches you, your board or your lenders without partner review.

Cyprus and EU law

We are a Cyprus company, subject to the GDPR and Cyprus Law 125(I)/2018.

Speed from AI. Judgment from people. Accountability from us.

Every request is read by a partner and answered personally, in strict confidence. One conversation is enough to know whether we can help.
